PostSubject: A Quiet Meeting (tags Korso)   Fri Jun 20, 2014 1:49 am

Meg entered the Tip Top club, she felt completely out of place as she noticed people wearing their very finest. She looked down at the folder in her hand and sighed she really didn't want to hand over information like this. She didn't have any choice though, as she was starting to realize. Her hand gripped the folder as she made her way towards the bar, as soon as she handed the folder over she could leave.

{OOC: Sorry for the wait! Had a lot of computer problems DX}

Korso took a sip of his drink as he waited for his little meeting to get started. New information was coming his way about Rourke and his men. The information, from the what his little "informant" gave in code to him was that it was something big...

And being one step ahead is what Korso aims for right now.

He gave a casual glance around the room, before he spotted his informant heading his way at the bar. She didn't send a glance his way at all as she took a seat at the bar next to him. Korso had almost forgotten that she didn't know she was meeting with the head mobster himself...

With how big this information was, Korso could only trust himself to get it... Not to mention the fact that Milo was out and John was off doing another mission for him. Besides, it'd been awhile since he had gotten the chance to be out in the field.

(ooc its ok, I had a lot going on anyway <3)
Meg sat down at the bar and ordered a Shirley Temple, she wasn't planning on getting drunk when she handed information like this over. As she waited she spotted a very familiar person sitting near her, she swallowed hard and looked down at the folder in her hands. Meg suddenly felt even worse about what she was doing, if Cole knew, no she wasn't going to think about that. She just silently hoped that she didn't have to hand this over to Korso, that would only make the guilt get stronger.

(OOC: *crashes in* 8'D)

Dean, like usual didn't pay much attention to either the old or new customers that arrived, and wordessly and quickly prepared the young lady's order with giving her more than a glance. When he finished and turned to serve her the drink, he froze for a couple seconds as he saw the one man he could not handle was sitting beside her. His typical blank expression immediately melted into a deep frown, cursing his bad luck for working a shift with no Annie nearby when he actually needed her, as a shield that is.
He sighed, pushing the glass towards Meg and hoped that whatever her and Korso where about to discuss would make the man ignore him. It sort of seemed important though, with the tension that suddenly seemed to grow the moment the young lady took notice of him.
He hadn't had enough coffe yet to be able to deal with Korso and his meaningless threats afterall.

Korso sent Dean a look, clearly telling him to keep his nose out of it. He should have made sure it was Annie that would be working tonight and not her "friend". He still couldn't believe that Dean saw nothing for his childhood friend, which was one of the many reasons Korso didn't like the guy.

"You may want to get something stronger before the night is over." He finally spoke, his tone casual as he took another sip of his bourbon. "How are you tonight, Miss Stacey? Lovely evening to be out and about, wouldn't you say?" He asked, looking over at her, giving her a charming smile, but the look in his eyes told her she wasn't able to get up and leave now.

Meg's expression crumpled as she accepted her drink, "I was fine before I had to come here." She stated bluntly. She took a sip from her drink with her hand slightly shaking, "I need a clear head if I'm going to be handing over information like this over." She added, her expression all but daring him to argue that statement with her. Her eyes darted back to the folder on her lap, she didn't want to hand it over to him but she had too. "What are you planning to do with it?" She asked, her hand tightening on her drink.

Dean merely rolled his eyes at the glare Korso sent him, sadly he had been expecting that one. It's not like he cared about his business anyway, not his fault they decided to have a private talk here where he currently worked. He was good at tuning things out though...
He blinked when he heard Korso greet the young woman, but kept his poker face on as he carefully glanced back towards the two. And now he had that feeling of familiarity again, the more he looked at that woman the more he was certain he knew her. Well at least, used to know her.
he shrugged it off, and went back in trying to not hear their conversation.

Korso's main focus was on the woman next to him, but he made sure he knew where Dean was. He shrugged at the woman's response. "I meant more later on, but whatever is your cup of tea." He said, before letting out a small chuckle at her expression.

"Just want to keep a step ahead of Roarke, nothing too major; he's been cracking down hard, and I ain't one to let that go easily." He stated, nonchalantly, like it wasn't that big of a deal. It was, however, an extremely big deal and it was one he was taking personally.
