Right... No! Left! No! Ri-left! Francis had to think quickly, really quickly, too much quickly. The men after him weren't idiots -despite their look- and sooner or later they would have caught him, a perspective not really appealing at the moment...
Just for a couple of photos.... if only he wouldn't have used the flash, those men wouldn't have even noticed his presence in that warehouse. But at that point it was too late to think about it, he had just to run. Run faster than them, at least...
With a sudden swerve, Francis entered into the Gardens: hopefully all that green would have helped him, hiding his traces from his chasers. Turning his head to see if they were still after him, Barton suddenly bumped into a young girl, both falling loudly on the ground.
"What the...?" he mumbled moving away from her and sitting on the ground.

Crysta groaned upon impact, then groaned some more at the fact she'd fallen and bumped her head on the ground. Who was even running through the gardens anyway?
Her eyes wandered to see a teenage boy, moving away from her slightly. Trying to ignore her pounding head, she wiped her grazed hands on her jeans before standing up.
Quickly letting go of the fact she'd hit the ground, she half-smiled and gave an almost laugh.
"Why were you running? This place is open to the public, and other people don't take kindly to getting literally run into." she said lightly, trying to make the situation easier on the young boy.

Barton washed off some dust from his clothes as he woke up. The girl he had hit was already on her feet and she didn't seem hurt, at least not that much, luckily for him: he surely didn't want to get in more troubles than he already was, because he bumped into someone into the Gardens!
However his relief didn't last for long, her question did brought Barton back to reality. For a moment he had almost forgotten why he was running, from WHO he was running! Turning his head in the direction of the entrance of the Gardens, Barton didn't see anyone, at least no one of his chasers. Which meant that he had got ride of them, at least for the moment.

"Yeah..." he turned to Crysta smiling sightly "Sorry about that... I didn't see you..." he shrugged, of course he wasn't going to tell her the reason of his run, but he still owned her an apology for bumping into her.

Crysta saw the brief and slight look of panic that had adorned Francis' face as he turned towards the entrance. So he was running from someone? Crysta raised a brow at his lack of answer as to why he was running, and gave herself a mental note to ask again in a minute.

"It's fine, an easy mistake." She hummed playfully, running her hand through her dark locks and wincing as she touched where she hit. "Not gonna lie, that was a hard hit," she chuckled, attempting to watch his body seeing if he was hurt too. Then, realising that this was a teenager and remembering how people could easily get the wrong idea as her eyes searched his body, she settled for simply asking. "You okay?"

"Yeah..." Barton chuckled, cleaning his hands on his jacket "At least there was some grass..." he shrugged sightly. At that point he had gotten used to fall on every kind of material: from asphalt to sand and even dirt. Anywhere his track was leading him and anywhere his chasers were trying to get him.

As Crysta started to check him out, Barton couldn't help but frown, not really sure about what she had in mind. However at her question, he relaxed a bit not feeling bad intentions coming from her.
"Yeah, I'm fine." he smiled sightly at her "Just a scratch..." he shrugged raising his hands and showing to her the scratched palms.

Crysta smiled seeing that the worst that happened was scratching up his hands, before raising her own grazes and chuckling. "We match."
Shoving her hands in her pockets, she furrowed her eyebrows, hearing faint shouting. She elected to ignore it, before bringing herself back to smile at Francis, and to ask once again why he was running. "So, once again, why were you running?"

Barton couldn't help but laugh as Crysta showed up her own hands, claiming that they matched. She seemed a nice girl, not involved into gangs or some kind of mafia's squad. At least he hoped so.

Due to his sightly deafness, Barton didn't noticed the shouting in the distance -that was getting closer- and kept focusing on Crysta, tilting his head at her question. A tenacious girl, not only nice.
"A misunderstanding..." he shrugged, trying to be vague. He didn't want either to get her into his own problems or to let her know about his investigations.

Crossing her arms and pushing out one of her hips, she raised her eyebrows at his vagueness. In this city a misunderstanding could mean many things, and misunderstandings could change someone's life completely or even go so far as to end it.
"A misunderstanding? So you are running from someone." she confirmed her thoughts from earlier, and depending on who he was running from could get him in serious shit. The fact this boy had someone to run from created curiosity in Crysta, and unfortunately this couldn't be dealt with through eavesdropping.
"Why?"

Barton bit his lips. Nice, tenacious and also smart! Why people couldn't just think at their own business?! Of course, this time it was his own fault, using the wrong word and letting her guess what happened to him.

"Listen..." he raised an hand "I don't want to get you in troubles..." with that he surely confirmed her doubts -if she still had any- but he wanted to be frank with her, warning her about the possible danger.

Crysta smiled slightly, glad he was being frank but also still pretty vague about things, sometimes you needed that in the city -especially with strangers. The shouting was getting louder, meaning the source was getting closer.
"Trouble?" She scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I can handle trou-" she muttered, before she cut herself off catching sight of some very angry looking people turn a corner behind Francis, ranting about presumably the boy in front of her.
Standing straight and letting her gaze fall back to Francis, she widened her eyes and planted a serious look on her face. "Yeah, I don't know your name... But, I think I've found your trouble." She breathed, using her eyes to gesture behind him, and biting her lip.

Barton had barely noticed how the shouting was keeping getting closer as he kept talking with Crysta. All he could get was some indistinguishable noises. Only when she froze, Barton finally realized that something was wrong. Seriously wrong. His 'indistinguishable noises' were becoming clear every second as he was trying to think fast on what to do. Of course he had to run, at that point they surely would have seen him, and they would have seen also Crysta!

"Yeah?" he smirked nervously, fighting against the impulse to turn and watch his chasers. He had to act quickly.
"Run!" without a warn, Barton took Crysta's hand started to run in the opposite direction of the men. Hopefully she would have been able to keep up, allowing both of them to find a good hiding place.

Crysta hummed towards Francis' nervousness Yep, this kid was in trouble.
At his sudden command however, Crysta managed to slip out a quick "What?" before promptly getting dragged by the hand to start running. Crysta wasn't the fastest runner, but her balance was good so there were less chances of falling, and she was light so it wouldn't take much to be dragged to be faster by the boy in front. "What did you even do!?" she shouted, turning her head to look back towards the angry men.

"Nothing!" Barton shouted back, keeping his look straight -the temptation to look behind was big, but he knew quite well that would have just slowed him- "Just a couple of photos." that was the main reason that they were chasing him, then there were some little details that just worsen the whole situation.

"Left!" he shouted, making a sudden swerve still holding her hand. They were running towards a group of bushes, hopefully that could have been a good place to hide or at least be able to leave behind the men.
"Are they still behind?!"

Crysta felt her jaw drop slightly at the reason of all this trouble. "Photos!?" She turned her head back to face him, and stared at the back of his head while running. "All of this, for a couple of photos!?" She gasped, she'd never known someone to go through all this trouble just for photos. Why does he even need them anyway?

Crysta almost skidded across the concrete at the sudden turn, but used her weight to counterbalance it, still letting out a squeak. Seeing the bushes in front of them, Crysta turned her head to see that they weren't in sight, however that was probably due to the corner they'd just turned. They had enough time to get to those bushes at least before they turned the corner as well if they were still on the run. "I hope not, I cant see them to make sure though." She shouted, gritting her teeth at her burning legs. If I knew this was gonna happen I wouldn't have worn jeans...

"Unbelievable... isn't it?" Barton couldn't help but smirk as he kept running. Those weren't just photos, those were potential money if sold to the right buyer, and Barton knew a few that could have been interested in what he just caught with his camera.

"All or nothing, then..." he mumbled mostly to himself, for what he knew those men wouldn't have stopped so easier their run and the situation could have got worse than it already was! They had to get to the bushes! There was no other way!
Accelerating his run -still dragging Crysta with him- Barton slipped inside the group of bushes. Luckily for them they were thick enough to hide them at least for the necessary time before the waters calmed down.
Moving a finger on his mouth, he turned towards Crysta "Now... hush..."

Feeling the boy in front of her speed up, she was dragged quicker too, catching sight of the bushes just before Barton slipped into them, taking her with him. She almost ended up on top of him which, lets face it,, would not have been a good situation. But, lucky for her she managed to avoid it and ended up on her ass with one leg sticking out with the other underneath her.
Looking towards Barton as the shouts got closer again, she took account of him putting his finger over his lips and became unnervingly quiet as she nodded. What if they'd seen us jump in here? Then what would they do? She glanced nervously towards the bushes branches and leaves in front of her, not capable of seeing through. Then, looked back to Barton. What would they have done to him?
